Using Noteboard.ai

These terms govern your use of Noteboard.ai, provided by ElowenWorks Technology ("Noteboard.ai", "we", or "us"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Noteboard.ai for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

We operate from Malaysia.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and take responsibility for activity carried out through your account. Do not share credentials or use someone else's account without permission.

Tell us through support if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for choosing collaborators and checking the access you grant to your boards.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in the notes, files, images, and other material you bring to Noteboard.ai. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload that material and use it with the features you select.

You give us permission to host, store, copy, process, and display your content as needed to provide and secure the service, carry out your requests, and share your work with the people you authorize. This includes sending relevant content to service providers when you use features such as AI, transcription, research, or source conversion, as described in the Privacy policy.

We do not acquire ownership of your original content through this permission. You decide whether to keep AI suggestions and whether to share or export your work. Revoking board access cannot recall copies or exports already made by another person.

Acceptable use

Use Noteboard.ai lawfully and respect the rights and security of others. You must not:

Upload or distribute material you do not have permission to use, or use the service to infringe privacy, intellectual-property, or other legal rights.
Use the service for fraud, unlawful harassment, exploitation, or other illegal activity.
Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or usage limits, or disrupt the service.
Send spam or misuse invitations, accounts, payment systems, or AI features.
Import content by bypassing access restrictions or use third-party services in violation of their applicable terms.

AI and third-party features

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable, or similar to output provided to other users. Review suggestions, generated images, transcripts, and research references before relying on or sharing them. You are responsible for your decisions and for checking that your use of any output respects others' rights.

Noteboard.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or availability of AI output. Research references may be based on search snippets rather than a full reading of a source. AI output should not replace appropriate professional advice where it is needed.

Third-party websites, media, authentication, and payment services are governed by their own terms. Their availability and behavior are outside our control. Features can have file, duration, credit, or other limits shown in the product.

Plans, subscriptions, and credits

Free and paid plans are described on the Pricing page. The amount, currency, billing frequency, and any applicable taxes shown at checkout apply to the subscription you purchase.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through billing management before the next renewal. Open Account settings and choose Manage billing to manage or cancel a subscription. The billing portal shows the cancellation date and any remaining access.

AI features use credits. Credits can be reserved while a request runs, with unused reserved credits released afterward. Allowances, refresh dates, and available credits are shown in your account. Credits are a service allowance and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred between accounts. Paid allowances refresh with the applicable billing period; unused credits do not roll over.

Manual board editing and exports remain available when AI credits run out, subject to account access and service availability. Contact support about billing mistakes or refund requests. Any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law remain in place.

Availability and changes

We may update features, fix errors, perform maintenance, and change plan limits or pricing. Changes to a paid subscription will be communicated and take effect in accordance with applicable law and the subscription information provided to you.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep copies of work you need outside Noteboard.ai; you can export saved boards as PNG or PDF. Browser-level undo history and other temporary session state may not persist between sessions.

Ending use or restricting access

You can stop using Noteboard.ai at any time. Cancel a paid subscription through billing management before requesting account deletion. Contact support for help closing an account; there is currently no self-service account-deletion control.

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably needed to address a breach of these terms, abuse, security risks, nonpayment, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain the restriction and how to contact us about it.

Moving a board to Trash removes it from the active workspace and allows its owner to restore it for 30 days, subject to plan capacity. The owner can permanently delete it sooner; after the recovery period, it is scheduled for permanent deletion. Parking or scrapping a card keeps it for possible restoration. The Privacy policy explains retention of workspace, account, billing, and backup records.

Responsibilities and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise that it will meet every particular requirement or that every file, third-party integration, or AI result will work as expected.

You remain responsible for the content you provide, the people you share it with, and the decisions you make using the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer protections.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. We will provide notice of material changes when required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, you can stop using the service and cancel any paid subscription.

These terms do not remove any right you have to contact a regulator or use courts available to you under applicable law.
